 <title>UN document would give &#039;Mother Earth&#039; same rights as humans</title>

 <description>	&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;UNITED&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;NATIONS&lt;/span&gt; — Bolivia will this month table a draft United Nations treaty giving &amp;#8220;Mother Earth&amp;#8221; the same rights as humans — having just passed a domestic law that does the same for bugs, trees and all other natural things in the South American country.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;The bid aims to have the UN recognize the Earth as a living entity that humans have sought to &amp;#8220;dominate and exploit&amp;#8221;  &amp;#8220; — to the point that the &amp;#8220;well-being and existence of many beings&amp;#8221; is now threatened.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Anishinabek commit to completing constitutional work</title>

	&lt;p&gt;Created in Anishinaabemowin &amp;#8211; the Ojibwe language &amp;#8211; by a group of Elders meeting on Manitoulin Island, the document  says &amp;#8220;The Creator placed the Anishinaabe on the earth&amp;#8221;, describing as &amp;#8220;sacred gifts to guide them&amp;#8221; the Seven Grandfather Teachings of Love, Truth, Respect, Wisdom, Humility, Honesty and Bravery.&lt;/p&gt;
